  • Condition: One 22" Strand Spiny Oyster Shell Beads Baja, Mexico ~not a finished necklace~ Strung in the Tucson bead studio, a 22" (twenty two inch) strand of genuine Spiny Oyster shell beads. These shells are harvested by divers in the Sea of Cortez, Baja, Mexico. Beads measure 4mm up to 7mm wide. Strand measures 22" long. Spiny Oyster shell beads were used by Native Americans as currency and jewelry inlay. Beautiful colors; red/orange/white. All of the beads are handpicked at international trade shows and journeys. I do all my own string designing! All natural, nothing added. ~not a finished necklace~ enjoy this exact (1) pictured strand!
