This exceptional antique German sterling silver box has been realistically modelled in the form of a fish.
This impressive fish shaped box has an articulated body, allowing the fish's position to be customised.
The body of the box is embellished with separate dorsal and pectoral fins, in addition to rows of engraved scales.
The forked caudal/tail fin is further ornamented with engraved textures replicating the fish's natural features
This antique silver fish box retains the original hallmarked push fit hinged cover/head.

Importer's mark: BML (Boaz Moses Landeck)
    Import mark: Chester, England
