This is the tape you need to wrap your house or commercial building using Tyvek Building Wrap.  The tape is ultra sticky and lasts virtually forever in extreme weather.  It will also work on Visquine sheeting, or vapor barrier, or floor sheeting film which goes underneath hardwood.

White Housewrap Sheathing Tape
:
Most commonly used to seam weather barriers such as Prime Wrap, Tyvek HomeWrap, and all other major housewraps.  Also used in HVAC sealing and repair jobs, sheathing tape has a flexible backing consisting of white polypropolene. The pressure sensitive rubber adhesive easily forms and adheres to a variety of smooth or slightly irregular surfaces. It is incredibly durable and long lasting as it is resistant to flame, moisture, weather, UV degradation, and some chemicals. The strong permanent acrylic adhesive and polypropolene backing create a strong seal that forms a moisture and vapor barrier.
It's durability and flexibility also lends it to an array of uses in aerospace, metal finishing, appliance, and automotive industries as well as temporary metal repair.
Please NOTE:
Surfaces should be as clean, dust free, and
dry
as possible before application.  While the surface of the tape is
moisture resistant
the adhesive is not.  The adhesive is
pressure sensitive.
Make sure you press the tape firmly into place when applying moving from the inside of the tape to the outside. The higher the pressure applied to the tape and the dryer the surcface when installing, the better the adhesive will attach.
