Researched Soviet Russian USSR Medal Order of the Red Star MZPP, Colonel WWII

Description

Soviet Russian Order of the Red Star #2121535 awarded to Colonel Demyan Kuzminsky in 1945. Kuzminsky also earned the Order of Lenin, Order of the Red Banner, and Combat Service Medal. At the time he was recommended for the Order of the Red Star, Kuzminsky was a senior instructor at an artillery academy. In 1957, he was Chief of the Meteorological Laboratory of the Artillery Institute for Scientific Research (that means
weapons research and development
).
The order is of the
uncommon MZPP variation
, and it is in good condition, as seen on the scans. Original screw plate included.
