    All-Russian Emergency Commission to Combat Counter-Revolution and Sabotage (CHEKA), Extraordinary Commission of Georgia (
    CHEKA
    of Georgia).
    Order to obtain sanction for the prosecution and punishment without trial of six people accused of armed robbery. Two of the accused were killed during a shootout with the police. One of the surviving accused was sentenced to death by execution. The three remaining defendants were sentenced to five years in prison.

    Lavrentiy
    Beria, in the future the most powerful man in the USSR after Joseph Stalin.
    In 1923, Lavrenty Beria was the Head of the Investigative Department of Part of the Extraordinary Commission of Georgia.
