In 1924 , when the Military reform was carried out, the Red Army switched to a new uniform.
BUTTONHOLES METAL Insignia of the Red Army was covered with the Red Enamel
The metal ( copper) insignia were attached to the buttonholes :
1. The diamond shape - for senior officers (General’s)
2. The Rectangles shape - for senior officers ( slippers )
3.. The squares - for middle Officers (cubary )
4. The Triangles - for Junior Officers, foreman’s and sergeants.
