VINTAGE HUNGARY 800 SILVER JEWISH WEDDING PRESENTATION BEAKER CUP, CIRCA 1945

Description

Up for auction is a vintage Hungarian 800 silver wedding presentation beaker/cup. The touch marks indicate Hungary, circa 1937-1965 and silversmiths' initials GM. The translation of the engraving is something like: To naive groom from Brikani Enatan Kalishni 5706 (1945) The cup is 2 7/8" high and weighs 40.1 grams. The rim is 2 1/8" in diameter, base 1 3/8". It has few tiny dents and a cut on the rim. Really nice collectible piece. Good luck with your bidding.
